Applying for a Nursery Place 2022-23 (Added 16.2.22)
South Lanarkshire Council has launched an admissions campaign for Nursery places.
Applications can be found HERE and should be completed by the end of February 2022.
Please share this information with anyone who has a child approaching nursery age (3) in the next year or so. Alternatively, anyone with a query can contact the school office.
New P1 Enrolment (Updated 10.1.22)
Please share this information with the parents/carers of children who should be starting school in August 2022.
An online registration form can be used week beginning 10th January.
The child's full birth certificate and 2 proofs of residency are required.

Mr Murray is available this week to speak to any parents/carers who may want further information about their child deferring entry to school. A LEAFLET for parents is attached.
Free School Meals P1-P5 (Added 10.1.22)
From January 2022, children at local council schools can get free school lunches during term-time in Primary 1 to 5. This applies to all children in these years - your family's financial circumstances do not matter.

Financial Support (Added 20.10.21)
South Lanarkshire Council has produced information regarding financial support that some families may be entitled to. Information can be found HERE.
Gate Change from Monday 4th October (Added 3.10.21)
The children in Primary 1 to 7 will all use the same playground gate from now on. This is the gate nearest the main entrance. Significant changes at the school, due to the building extension, will begin on Monday 4th October. The staggered entry and exit times will remain the same.
Staggered Entry and Exit
8.50am-2.50pm: P6 & P7
8.55am-2.55pm: P4 & P5
9am-3pm: P1- P3
9am-3pm: Nursery Class
Primary 1 classes will be last to leave. Primary 1 parent/carers should stand away from the gate until older children have left the playground.
On wet mornings, children should enter via the main entrance from 8.45am. If you need to drop off your children earlier than this, the breakfast club is available. A plan of the school grounds can be viewed HERE.
