Glengowan Parent Group was formed in 2011 and the main aims are to:
Raise funds to support school activities.
Organise social events for parents, pupils and staff to develop effective relationships within the school community
Identify and represent parents and guardians of pupils in attendance at Glengowan Primary on the education provided by the school and other matters affecting the education and welfare of the pupils.
Promote partnership between the school, its pupils and all parents/guardians

We are always looking for new members to contribute to planning our events and developing new fundraising ideas. We meet approximately 4/5 times a year to discuss fundraising as well as any issues affecting the school and children.
We also need a regular team of helpers to help at events, e.g. discos, fayres, selling raffle tickets, book fayre, school photographs etc. If you are able to spare any time please contact us via the school office or speak to one of the GPG members.
